LAFSD Wellness Policy
The Lafayette School Board adopted the Student Wellness Policy September 2006. The policy addresses the commitment of the District to support school environments that promote and protect students’ health, well-being, and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating and physical activity. State and federal law govern many provisions of the policy. The policy addresses food and beverages sold and provided to students during the school day, nutrition and physical activity education, and physical education opportunities.
