Quality school facilities are essential to our educational mission. Because our school facility needs are significant and growing, our district is increasing our focus on facilities assessment and planning this year. With the support of a highly qualified architectural firm, HKIT, our District is currently conducting an intensive analysis of facility needs at all of our sites. All possible solutions regarding facilities needs are being explored and are not limited by any preconceived ideas. Our highest priority is reaching out to parents and community members this fall to listen, gather input, and share information. When dates for parent and community engagement sessions are finalized, information will be shared through our District website.
The next Governing Board Study Session will occur on September 30, 2015 in the Stanley Middle School Library at 6:00 pm. As part of the Facilities Master Planning process, Public Financial Management will share information with the Board about the District’s bond capacity. This meeting is open to the public.
